If it helps, the two young men go away in direction to the Musain before even noticing their sister, who looks back to Grantaire. It would take her picking them before she went back home to make sure they come with her, safe and sober, but it was better than they finding her now in this situation.

Her father loved Shakespeare, and Irma still had his copy of the complete works, with annotations by the late Monsieur Boissy.
